You can get quarter inch or half inch mostly.
But sometimes you can end up with 8mm,

If you have Half inch router you can get sleves that bring it down to quarter inch or 8mm.
Or more expensive different sized collets.

Never seen an 8mm but this was just me being an impatient idiot. As it's a two handed unit I made an assumption of it being 1/2" instead of a) checking, and b) remembering I had only just been using and cleaning a 1/4" bit!
I'll just have to lump it and buy the right size

Lots of rebating for a small router Loofah.
Keep the half inch cutter and get a bigger router.

Are you not doing the glass rebates before assembly?

              Look closer...

I wanted to get the corners up so have rebated those using a circular saw with a fence. Yes it was a total faff but worked ok although possibly I need a new blade now!
I can now triple check the glass length and rafter spacing. I'm considering once it's built I might just leave the glazing to next year and cover with plastic over winter. Lots of other jobs to be doing!

I picked up the router today and plunged straight in to give it a spin... It makes light work of the rebating and a nice clean cut with small amount of tear out on the very wet bits. The saw did a good job but this is way easier

The day after getting the router I put the rebate on most of the lengths of timber that will become rafters. You could tell the wet bits as it's much harder to cut and I could feel the bit getting blunter toward the end.
Then when time permitted I've been adding in rafters as I can; the ridge beam had gone a touch wonky donky on me but I've managed to correct that as the rafters go in. Being a child I've also had a good swing off the structure and it's not going anywhere :)

Still some rafters to go in and the I'll get on to the windows and verticals
