I still have loads of seeds that I haven't sown, and in fact intend to go and get more compost tomorrow to finally start them off. The net result of the weather and a lack of cash has resulted in me finding myself in the position where my gardening get up and go has got up and went! I am already considering doing only the bare minimum to keep the place tidy this year, and abandoning any plans for a good display.

Yesterday evening, there was an "expert scientist" on TV here that claimed Spring had arrived about two to three weeks early. This statement was based on the fact that wild life had started to mate.

When I see the various forms of plant life, such as daffodils, tulips, and similar Spring flowers they are only just about beginning to show. That for me says we are a two to three weeks late.

Of course, I'm not an expert, so I must be the one that is wrong...:snorky:

They have to say that in order to keep the climate change theory going, without the odd"expert", and I mean "odd", we could all stop believing and just go about things normally with less taxation.

Never understood how TV companies seem to come up with an "expert" at the drop of a hat on any subject, its amazing how many "experts", there actually are, out there.
