Now don't start me off on packaging Petal especially electrical and computing accessories packaging - nicely sealed in its thick, sealed plastic envelope which need tools to enter. Then there's vacum sealed jars and...............

By the way for those who find opening tins with ring pulls, keys or even the chewing and rusting tin opener. I highly reccomend the tin opener on QVC - it opens them all with no effort, no sharp edges and no rust.

Gotta say cyclists are one of my pet hates, should add not all of them, but there is a very large majority that seem to think that because they pay no road tax the rules of the road/ pavement dont apply to them.
They approach a red light and either ignore it, or its up onto the pavement, around the lights then back into the road the other side. Not a single look back before coming back on the road either.
Pedestrians have to scatter as they dont even slacken their speed, and if they hit you their not insured, so its hard luck on you.
Then they spout about being green and helping the enviroment.

The way a lot of young people just glare back at you when you smile at them. Is it a crime to grow old?

Young people who, when you've opened the door to enter/exit a shop, sail on through without so much as a glance in your direction while you hold the door open for them!

What I want to know is, considering when I was young(er) I had to stand up when an adult spoke to me, hold doors open for my seniors in nursing school, let adults have my seat on the bus, be told when grown-ups scolded me about some mischief I'd done, be quiet while grown-ups were speaking.... Now it's all the youngsters who have 'rights' and what I want to know now is WHEN IS IT MY TURN?! [IMG] [IMG]
