The scumbags who stole my grand-daughter's car and crashed it into a BMW! Her Fiesta is a write-off and the BMW needs extensive repairs. As she is over 8 months pregnant this is making life very difficult for her - but I expect these *******s don't ever consider what effect this has on people's lives. I'd like to ring their necks! :(

Sorry to hear that Jjordie, not a good time for your granddaughter - she don't need to loose her freedom at this point. - and are you sure that you only want to ring their neck?.

I remembered a real wind up for me that I haven't seen for a while. Someone in front of you is approaching a roundabout in the left hand lane but they signal right(?!) Then, as they pass the first exit, they signal left. They're actually going straight on which, according to my copy of the highway code, demands no action at all! [IMG]
I had a boss that used to do that all the time and she insisted it was the proper thing to do. Where on earth did she get that from. one wonders?!

I think when I passed my test, that was the right thing to do, I think. :(
Didn't make much sense to me though, but then how much of the highway code does. ;)

We have a very nice collection of poles, posts bollards etc. all at various angles from 45 deg to flat on the ground. The idea is to stop vehicles going in various places, trouble is delivery lorries cant get round them, so they flatten them. Makes the place look really untidy.

    A different 'windup' :

Recently bought a new knife-sharpener- it sharpens my knives very well, but it makes it difficult to use my PC keyboard with a large bandage round my finger!

(note to self: watch what you're doing with sharp knives)

My present wind up is the rain! Everytime I have a day off work, it's raining cats and dogs. Then when I'm at work, the sun's shining and it's all nice and dry!!! [IMG]
