I'm planning on using Nematodes this year as I'm fed up of losing my Delphiniums to the slimy :mute:.The border isn't a very large one and is fenced off to stop the chooks also helping themselves.I've never used slug pellets because of said chooks and although I've said the border is fenced off I daren't risk it.I understand the nematodes have to be reapplied every six weeks from early Spring,I was thinking two applications maybe enough, by then the plants should have had chance to get some good growth on them. The soil temperature has to be above 5 degrees so it'll be about getting the timing right. It's got to be worth a go:thumbsup:

Yes - and if you can apply as close to when they first start appearing in spring, you'll get the first wave which should keep numbers down and manageable.
