    Thats good news then Loli.

My dog looked at his empty sack when he came round, then looked at me with a look that said it all.. Why Dad, Why??:(

This probably won't help at all and is highly inapropriate on a sympathetic thread, but I want you to play it to Doggie when he's better.

when my dog was ill, I used to put the portable telly in front of him, he loved the cat food adverts.

Glad Theo's going to be okay Lolimac. :) It will be him that's feeling smug when it's Archi's turn.

Wake up in the morning singing Soprano?

I'll stick to Dorset, at least you know it'll only be a sheep next to you in the morning.

At least a Sheep will only be demanding Cabbage & a bowl of milk, not your naddgers on a plate.

Sat waiting for the phone to ring for next update on Theo....
The vet rang just after 10pm and said that Theo wasn't taking too kindly to being cooped up:(and was stressed ,he'd also had a go at his bandage which needed to be re-done as his hip must stay imobile......the poor cherub must be in a right state as he's been given sedatives but is still not chilled out....i do hope he's had a better night than we've had here....:(His brother Archi seemed to be enjoying Theos absence yesterday but looks really forlorn this morning....:(

I missed your awful news yesterday. I do hope that Theo will make a very speedy recovery. It is quite natural for Archi to pine for him after a little while. Thinking of you all

                        The latest on Theo.....
vet just rang and said that Theo will not tolerate his bandage and has had ANOTHER go at it....he is extremly stressed and agitated so he is going to have ANOTHER anesthetic (those things scare me) and more xrays to check his hip is still where it should be ....if all is going to plan we can bring him home later today where the vet thinks he will be more settled in his own surroundings but we have to keep him quiet and he's to have no excitement......this will be a major task in its self as Theo gets excited if the sun shines.......We'll do what ever it takes to 'mend' him and i'm sure he'll be happier when he's home:wub2:and so will we.......

Oh my word, I have only just caught up with all the news on Theo, poor old boy well young boy actually. Amber sends her commiserations and says she knows about being told to lay still and be calm etc.........doesn't help much. Think you need some of her sedative pills!

I hope he goes on ok Lolimac, bless his little heart. :)
