hmmm - it must be approaching that time for me too!

First, I need to decide which recipe to do. Not made easier by one of my books being taken by its "borrower" to Australia earlier this year. Guess I'm not going to see Delia's Christmas again!!

Do I do a traditional Christmas cake, or Nigella's really rich boiled fruit cake (with lots of chocolate and treacle), or a friend's Guiness cake (probably at least as rich as a traditional cake!!). Something to mull over, when I should be revising for a language test this afternoon!

 

Oh, Miraflores, what type of Panettone do you buy? I got a BOGOF at tesco's a couple of weeks ago, I think they are quite plain ones. One year I had one with sugar crystals sprinkled on the top, and I have tried a chocolate one, which did not appeal. I dunk my slice in Champagne,

 

"galup" is my favourite just because it is the brand that I am used to...but any other similar to that one will do the job fine. I like mine with cappuccino...
