Things that get into the compost

My next door neighbour always gives me his grass cuttings after he has mowed his lawns but I don't know what he thought I could do with this lot he gave me the other month.The watering can I can use but the other stuff is no good to me as I don't have a dog or kids:D

Squirrels or Swallow?

 

John, I can imagine a Crane carrying a coconut, but find Swallows doing so hard to swallow, Scrungee, could it be the compost heap was built around the coconut rather than the nut being added?

 

Could have been an African Swallow.

What are the chances of both me and Scrunge building a compost heap around an existing Coconut?

 

As long as it wasn`t the same coconut, highly possible I would say.

Was anyone else listening to GQT yesterday? I only half caught what someone was saying about finding condoms in the compost heap, something to do with a son not wanting his Mum to know about what he'd been upto

 

I thought I'd found some condoms in an inherited compost heap on a new plot, but then I realised the previous tenant had been composting half cucumbers without removing the plastic wrappers.

 

LOL

 

Over 2 years later and I found that coconut again a few days ago all black and charred amongst the smouldering embers of our latest bonfire. It must be indestructible!
