        Found this growing in one of my compost bins today.

        It's a runner bean seedling. In November. Just shows how mild the weather has been recently.

        Think I'll leave it there and see how far it gets. Runner beans for Christmas dinner perhaps? :biggrin:

            Could have been worse @Zigs - at least it didn't still have a foot inside it. :hate-shocked:

            Blimey, I'd forgotten all about that random runner. If I remember correctly (and I usually don't), I think it got decapitated by a mollusc shortly afterwards. :noidea:

                          For those not aware..when socks reach a certain point of horrendously stinky smellyness they aquire the ability to move unaided :embarrassed:
