Aah, that old chestnut again

 

Well that's a tough nut to crack Scrungee!

 

Found this growing in one of my compost bins today.

It's a runner bean seedling. In November. Just shows how mild the weather has been recently.

Think I'll leave it there and see how far it gets. Runner beans for Christmas dinner perhaps?

 

Did @Trunky ever get those beans?

Could have been worse @Zigs - at least it didn't still have a foot inside it.

Blimey, I'd forgotten all about that random runner. If I remember correctly (and I usually don't), I think it got decapitated by a mollusc shortly afterwards.

 

So.. Has it come back yet?

 

Whoever left it didn't get a clean getaway.

I just don't get it, it's not like the laundry basket is anywhere near the organic waste bin
