There is a baby rabbit grazing among the primroses on the ‘lawn’. It looks like a picture from an Easter card. I wish I had a decent camera.

I wish you had a decent camera!
Even an average shot would have been enough to impress me, lol!

I have to keep wetting my normal brand of compost with "mosquito" bits water/tea because of the constant battle with soil gnats. It does kill them but it is an added step to watering because the bits have to soak for a while before use.

A day or so after I bought a large amount of compost that is not my usual brand, I stumbled across an online review which led me to multiple other reviews all saying the same thing. If you buy my usual brand, it is a miracle if you do NOT get teeming clouds of soil gnats.

Maybe swaying from my regular buy solely to save money, turned out to be a delightful happenstance!

Thank goodness for serendipitous moments as I now do not have a vast amount of the gnat filled other brand

Very happy that my small patch of Fritillaries are flowering already. They seem very early IMG_2081.jpeg

They are pretty. I have never grown them but they do seem early.

@Brenda I am currently trying to grow fritillara (various types) from seed but the way things are going I believe the results will be in the "fat chance of that" range!

                  Yours are gorgeous!

Mine have been out for a couple of weeks, and I consider that a bit late! I am in the south east though!

A bit on the computer side, but helps a lot here for me. I used Edge as a browser (long story) and it's just been updated. The update includes a feature whereby you can right click on images and magnify them, this might be useful to others using Edge.

My next-door neighbours have decided to take their house off the market and keep on living there.
I am happy because they're nice and friendly, and I was worried about what sort of people my new neighbours would be.

Bought myself a new bike, first since 1994. Been riding it around to get back in the saddle so to speak and not fallen off....yet.
