We just had a surprise visitor ... the man has signed us up to fibre connection, which has taken three years to get to our area! T'other Half says our speed will be zillions faster than now for 32 Euros a month, about the same as our currently slow supplier. The crew will come out to assess and connect.

 

Bella cat has started to regain weight and her blood thyroid level is good, she doesn't need another blood test for three months
And after I'd paid the vet bill they called me back to say I'd been over-charged by £25, so I had it refunded

I’m guessing £25 was a fairly small proportion of the whole bill, vet fees being on the astronomical side, but … every little helps.

 

Thank you the bill was £130-ish (can't remember exactly) so it was still over £100, but not quite as bad.

 

The Clematis montana I dug up and moved in January has shown its first green bud. I was worrying that popular opinion about moving them was true and I'd killed it. Our Astrantia is finally showing new little shoots through the three inches of mulch I dumped on it over winter. And my Chillies have finally germinated - well, one of them anyway.
