                            I seem to remember reading somewhere that there is only one animal locally that can actually open the fruits so they both rely on one another, one dies out, they both do.
                            Not sure if that is true or not.

                              I have a couple of brazil nuts (the big outer casing) that we brought back form Brazil. The outer casing had little windows cut in it so you could see the seeds inside and then outer casing was polished. They make more money selling those to tourists than selling the nuts. :heehee:
