I've got 40 year old pencils in a drawer that are still long enough to use.
Could be waiting a long time for the plants.

 

I've had an idea. I reckon it's a winner.

What if, let's say, sometimes you need a pencil, and sometimes you want to grow something from seed. So here's my idea. What if I sell pencils, and separately sell seeds. Then I could sell a variety of different pencils for different jobs, and, this is the genius part, I could sell different kinds of seeds separately. Then people that want a pencil and a seed get to choose any combination of pencil type and seed type, depending on what they actually want.

 

No doubt ones good at eliminating air pollution!!

 

A few years ago when I had my bathroom renovated, I was tempted to use the old bath, sink and toilets as planters in a quirky garden project. They were all dumped out on the front drive ready for the builder to dispose of when he'd finished.

The bath mysteriously vanished within twenty minutes of being put outside. It was fibre glass, so it's not like the scrap man took it. That just left the sink and the toilet but I'd thought about creating a whole bathroom theme. It wouldn't work without the bath.

Then we thought about it, and figured the neighbours might think we're mad, so it never happened.
