I really did enjoy all you had to say & it made me think how the hell did my granny have the money to bring me up,
I swear she made the best gravy ive even tasted but i didnt know this at the time I thought everyone had gravy like she made,

How did she do it? Well im sure if some of the younger generation knew they wouldnt touch it, But if it was served in Mcdonalds on a hamburger they'd think it was great.
Once again a smashing thread, "lets have more of the same".

The younger generations, really really worry me
I work with litrally hundreds of UNI degree staff and some post grad staff
All under 30 The males, know what a steak is, and believe it is cow? and have only occasionally bought steak to cook, mostly eaten in a restaurant, think that a donner Kebab is Goat meat (in the UK) and Bacon comes from Pigs, but do not know where a PORK CHOP comes from or how to cook it Never bought them
The females are better, they know the animal, but not a clue what cut of meat is from where
Cooked Ham, Gammon, or Bacon is all the same just named different to charge more, not a clue about cures why and how
Supermarket chickens, not a clue when asked about the neck, giblets, and livers, all removed and you just get an empty carcase, they usually only buy the fillets or drumsticks, sorry Leg thingies? :)

Oh dear, but maybe IF I did not know all this their would have been room in my head for a degree :heehee:

Take advantage Jack, could be some money to be made there.

Forget which Ferengi rule of aquisition that one is but probably "There is no shame in making a profit from the ignorant"
