[IMG] Very nice HB.. I have no paintings of ours, just photos, but scanner doesn't work. Will get a freind to scan a couple & show you... I loved those days..... BSAs, Nortons, Royal Enfield,Triumphs, Vincents & an old Moto-Guzzi Lodola were all bikes that came & went with us... Never really got into the concourse restorations.... Most of them trailered them to shows....!!!! For me the riding it was the important bit....!!!! Today it is, I suppose, different!!!! They are collectable...!!!!! My first motor bike was a Triumph Tiger Cub, Macleaf! Wonderful litle machine, but alas I have no photos.

This is the only photo that I have of my Dad's combi. Can't remember what it was - possibly Royal Enfield. That's me on the pillion with my sister driving. We loved the bike and called her "Black Bess". The sidecar we named "Burgundy Bert" Dear dead days - gone beyond recall!

No crash helmets or leathers then. Dad rode as dressed with just a flat cap and goggles. In winter, he wore an ex-army despatch riders greatcoat.
