Sooooo bored I think I will repot an indoor azalea, rescued it in homebase drowning in a decorative jug, priced 2-99, offered to purchase if 99p, :heehee: but looking at roots its quite potbound so a bigger pot may help it recover quicker.:noidea:

    Aww Silu,

There was I thinking you'd be chasing Armadillos with a bottle of Tequila in one hand & holding on to your Stetson with the other.

    Will you get a refund?

LOL, It's dog eat dog on Ebay! However, it can't be me as I don't bid until the last 5 seconds!

I've got the carpenter fixing my broken door where the burglers got in.

I'm not prepared to heat the stratosphere while they are working with the door open so I have got a nice hot water bottle on my lap while working on the computer. A great comfort, I must say.

Eekk burglers, how hellish, hope they didn't get away with too much or did more damage than your door...sympathies
Oh ha ha!! Yes got full refund from BA who were falling over themselves to stop people flying into/out of Theifrow. Now attempting again on 30th Jan but not via London. With the amount of snow we have and it's still falling, think I'd better set off for Edinburgh Airport NOW

In some countries where they also get winter like us, winter tyres are mandatory in winter. In the UK we tend to stick some summer tyres on and leave them on until they wear out, and then whine about getting stuck when it snows.

Apart from the initial outlay its the same cost I reckon ... Summer tyres used for 1/2 the year, thus last twice as long. Winter tyres used for ... the other half of the year ... and thus they last twice as long too :)

www.camskill.co.uk - if they have any left ...

Then there's the cost of having them changed. Or, what some people do is this. Buy a set of cheap steel wheels from the scrappy and put the winter tyres on them. In the summer, ride around on your nice alloys with summer tyres, then at the start of winter, everyone can change a wheel, so you put the boring steelies on with winter tyres.

I must admit I don't do that. I keep meaning to, but never seem to get round to it. If it was law I would.
