No nicer cloud to look at from the seat of a glider, unless it's a stonking lenticular at 18,000 feet ! Cheers, Tony.
Only just found this. Perhaps we could make it our dedicated 'cloud' thread, along the same lines as the sunset & sunrise thread? Us gardeners always have one eye on the sky anyway, and clouds in all their fascinating variations can often make for some great photos, so let's share a few on here. Here are a couple of quick ones I took at work yesterday of a rather threatening looking sky. I've manipulated them a bit to accentuate the clouds, but I think it gives a 'feel' of the weather that day.
I am sure this mean something to somebody in the wide world...
couple months ago caught a Angel Cloud with my cell. just saw this thread, so uploaded to photobucket and here it is. Kinda neat. Driving home, pulled over. Have got to keep a camera in my car.
never forget this fishing trip we took up in North Ontario, Canada Recall some wonderful clouds.
Last one reminds me of a painting I did years ago Trunk
The sky above Stirling today. Amazing.
Bath - September 2013; Mam Tor - March 2016; I love a good cloud shot
We've had thunderstorms here today, with hail thrown in for good measure. I managed to get a few quick shots of an impressive looking storm cloud heading up the coast this evening.
Some interesting skies while I was out for a walk this afternoon.
Great thread and pictures, I find looking at cloud's is like looking at tea leaves in the bottom of a cup, i can see a lion and a monkey there look .
