It looks very good. :blue thumb:

White pebbles are good because they will show up easier if they get onto the lawn - and they will :hate-shocked: Cats won't be the worst miscreants on the narrow strip of pebbles. It's likely to be blackbirds and similar friendly birds. I do a quick pebble patrol before each time I cut. :blue thumb:

You may still get some grass coming up and, after a few years, weeds. These will have been seeded amongst the pebbles and grow in the accumulation of detritus (@Zigs word of the week? :)) that will happen. To be honest, the amount of pebbled area you have will not be difficult to hand weed and you shouldn't worry about it. You should easily be able to keep it looking immaculate.

The detritus will be formed by a mixture of bits of cut grass, dead insect bodies, seeds and bits of organic material that float on the wind and other similar things.

Words of the week go to Shiney with his "accumulation of detritus"

Reminds me of the bottom of my fishing bag :)

The garden looks very nice - great job!

Just keep a watch out for stray pebbles because they make cylinder mowers yelp in pain a lot more than rotaries :)
