    Hi DG,

    Looks good, will have a look at the waynes world type vid tommorow when i've not got a wife asleep next to me.

    Want to start off on something simple.

    My woodwork future ended in skool as i threw a wet sponge at my mate just as the teacher stood up from between the work benches. Hit him full on, was picking up litter for 2 weeks after school.

    Thanks for the links.:thumb:

    I did woodwork for a term at school when I was about eleven, it did teach me the basics and I learned a bit of good advice about sawing, although thinking back I did give the right answer, as (for once) I gave the question a bit of thought before answering.

    The question from the teacher was;

    "When you're sawing a bit of wood and it starts to go off line, or you're hammering in a nail and you can see it isn't going in straight, what's the first thing you should do?"

    A few boys gave some suggestions which were dismissed and I came out with the right answer which I've always remembered.

    "Stop!"
