Driving along just outside Cambridge and WOW I just had to stop and take pics.Anemone Blanda,just how nature intended.....

I love the colour in them just as they are about to leaf up.

Happy Hippy its a salix, not sure which one, I got it from the chuck out sale section of a nursery and with a bit of TLC got it going.

 

Just had to share this pic. of this beautiful creature that we saw to-day, a Mute Swan called Wanda nesting with her mate Archie at the Welney Wetland Centre in Cambs.
