Kandyfloss, Willow is bringing you a gift! When cats bring them indoors they're saying "here Mum, thanks for feeding me, I bought you some food in return", but I agree meoaw they make is a bit wierd.
Has your cat ever bought you a frog? Ours do occasionally, and the noise the frog makes is even stranger. If you haven't heard it you wouldn't believe it; they scream!
Sorry to hear about the Robin, that's sad [IMG]

My Robin was back again this morning so it must have been another one he caught last weekend, but even though it was dead I managed to get it off of him

Last year both Willow and Poppy were trying to catch a frog out in the back garden and I heard it scream  I wasn't sure if frogs did scream so I started a topic under the wildlife section on GC and got a few replies that indeed frogs can scream.I caught the frog and took it round to the village duck pond and let it go there.I expect it will be back next year trying to find somwewhere to spawn

Imp he never got the chance to eat the Robin or the frog [IMG]

    They sure be dead.

I borrowed a trap last year that didn't kill them
was catching 2 and 3 a time then a walk over the fields to release them.

They are food for the Kestrals that I see hovering over there.

I know its part of a cats nature but so is freaking out at what they bring in. Ive had 2 cats and never could accept seeing what they did and wouldnt accept them bring it home.
I totaly would loose it. It only happened twice and I think the thought of me flying around screaming at them whilst throwing a cup of water at them prevented them ever returning with any other trophys.
They stayed with me for another 10 years so I didnt scar them mentally . Let them know how it upsets you. It wont stop them killing but at least you dont have to witmess it ! They are ruthless the ******s.

God Ive just freaked out again. I dont know how but when I posted this the last entry was about a robin being killed. I posted this , clicked the reply button and then a great big picture of a dead mouse filled my screen !!
I feel really upset. I cant scroll back to see who posted it but this is a gardening group.
Im sure I will get abuse for being too sensitive and silly but this has really upset me.

Sad that such delight is taken in killing such small defenceless animals - you can purchase humane traps and release the live creatures somewhere else ???
    Do we need the pictures?
