I'm afaid tweaky if it was over to me it would be feeding them to the pigs (if i had any of course) or green tom chutney.

I'm sure some more adventurous person will start a nice thread with lots of green tom recipes we can all have a go at. Though I expect some may be looking to fill the compost bin ;)

Robert, obviously you can't take a hint, so I'll just tell you straight out .... PUSH OFF!

Didn't you know Robert that showing off is a terrible terrible thing and really immature.

    Seriously, well done! ;)

I have had the earliest "Beef" tomatoes ever, this year! Started harvesting in mid June (not sure of the date) but they have been a poor crop and poor taste almost from day one, compared to other years.
Mine are grown in a greenhouse in my rear garden.

Was chatting to two fellow plot holders today, and mentioned about my tomatoes, both assured me that their tomatoes were marvellous, and as both have greenhouses on their plots I was given some of their to try there and then.

Both persons offerings were almost uneatable to me, but they would not accept what I was telling them.

    Ostriches spring to mind!
