I have a quite few varieties sitting outside that are still battling away, i think the falling temperature will take its toll before too long.
Beefsteaks starting to ripen at last, i had loads of Red Pear split wide open with the recent deluge but still plenty of orange ones that didn`t. The San Maranzo II`s seem happy enough..just a bit battered by the wind. Tumbling Toms just carry on regardless of what the weather throws at them and the solitary Money Maker is still plodding along.

Next year it might pay to have some cover in place or at least available in the event we get another monsoon season instead of a summer ;)
