They look very well - nothing to worry about there.
The feed you're using is ok, but I have had better results using just the ordinary Miracle Gro fertilizer.
I read 'somewhere' that the NPK balance of the Miracle Gro is better suited to cucumbers and having used it for 4 years now I have to agree.

        Congratulations to those already harvesting.

Rewind to 1st of June… pathetic tomato plants here so I bought an ‘emergency’ red cherry at a plant fayre but was fully expecting a fail year, but now… pleased to report a massive and healthy looking red cherry with loads of flowers plus my self sown ones are growing before my eyes. They’ve loved the heat of last week and my home made compost can take the credit too. Better late than never?

Fingers crossed the good weather continues long enough to ripen what fruit we do get @Aunty Rach.
Hate to say it but could do with a bit of rain down here. Never happy :)

My Sungolds have just started to get one or two fruits @Garrett , and they're undercover. They're all producing plenty of flowers. That's earlier than normal too.
Just shows the differences in various locations

@fairygirl perhaps we should all move to Surrey - or at least send our tomatoes there  Well done @JWK - they look scrumptious

Lots of fruit setting but no ripening here yet. LOTS of green growth too, bush plants have gone crazy! I've removed the shade netting from my little greenhouse on the basis that we're getting so little sun it's superfluous, and I'll just have to watch the temp doesn't get too high for the cucs.

Same here @KayJ. I've got Outdoor Girl (indeterminate), Veranda Red and Minibel (both bush). The Outdoor Girls have all grown well, but I've had mixed results with the bush ones.

Here's the first Outdoor Girl plants I put outside, right at the beginning of May, so they have coped with some seriously low temperatures. 2024-07-01_14-10-59.jpg

One of the better Veranda Red

But also this sorry specimen - which has been picking up and growing some new leaves in recent days. You have to applaud its efforts in setting fruit!

@Escarpment - Mine have been wrapped in fleece for the last few nights, gave them their weekly feed yesterday as all have some fruits on.
This morning its been raining heavy through the night, and now very cloudy and chilly (5.30am!) - it's looking like another miserable day unless the sun breaks through the clouds later on.

It's the first time in growing cucumbers this year - have about 20 cubs growing so far- but I'm thinking the outlook doesn't look good as the plant is living outside and my "La Diva" really need some sun rays :frown:

You couldn't pay me enough to live in the south @Philippa - too much heat. No thanks!
The damper, cloudier climate here suits me fine.

I think folk further south are now beginning to understand why we grow toms undercover up here to ensure a crop...;)
