              Right, here's my big one!
This looks like being the biggest of my Beefmaster. Mine seem to have peaked early, there are still several more to be picked, but this looks to be the biggest of the lot.

So at a healthy 12oz (350g), this is the one to beat. I'm calling it my '¾ pounder'.
I'm sure many of you have several monster tomatoes lurking out there which will surpass this one, so I'll enjoy my brief moment in the limelight while it lasts.

My biggest is growing very slowly, but now needs supporting:

Feeding mine with a very diluted "comfrey tea" every other day, still no sign of ripening, my dark horse is just 1/2" smaller in circumferance than my original contenders AND still expanding at a rapid rate, might just give Angelina a run for her money? :dancy:

Whilst I in no way doubt the and integrity of each and everyone of you in the competition;) , I can honestly confess that I have cocked up a cake before now -
because my scales weren't correctly set at zero before I did my weighing.
I will repeat I trust you all but weight is part of the formula isn't it?

Don't reckon any of mine will be ready until the end of September.

I thought the way Trunky did it in post #143 above was perfect, but was it grown inside or outside? (I'm doing both - inside in a polytunnel which I assume is classed as 'under glass' + outside in pots)...

Does it really matter? it's a "FUN" comp and who would want to cheat?

I suggest a piccie of your best will suffice (except Angelina? Joking)

I may end up with the "biggest" green tomato chutney but that's all part of it, we spur each other on and have a bit of friendly banter along the way? We all want to win though...... reminds me........ order red paint for one of my onions!
