        Excellent Trunky!

My Delicious plants have the thickest stems I've ever seen on a tomato plant, they do look strong. A couple of the fruit were going rotten at the base so I've pulled them off. Still no mega blooms.

I'm being very quiet.... one of my Delicious megablooms has produced a 2in1fruit, my money is still on my "Big Boys" though, off to a slow start but now overtaken the Delicious.

Might try a Big Boy X Delicious mating if I can find out how to?

Noticed the first of my Beefmaster beginning to change colour today.
It's not a big one, but it's a start! When it's ready for picking I'll weigh it and post a pic on here to get the competition started. :)

All my first megablooms failed to set fruit, which is a problem I've had with all my tomatoes this year, greenhouse, polytunnel and outdoors. However, megablooms on higher trusses have now set fruit and the good news is that toms on 2nd & 3rd trusses are supposed to produce bigger tomatoes than one on the first truss. There's still plenty of time for a giant tomato to grow from a flower that's only just opened.

I think that looks scary Scrungee.
I'd be afraid to try and remove that from its Mother,

The first of my Beefmaster was picked today.
I was to going to weigh it and post a pic on here to get us started, only problem being...it was Mrs. Trunky who picked it while I was at work.
By the time I got home it had been thoroughly chopped up and, along with some Basil, made into a very tasty salsa.
It wasn't all that big anyway and there are several more to come, so watch this space.
