Wouldn't kill you Jack. Best thing to do is plunge the toms into boiling water for a minute, then into cold water, the skins will just rub off then.

to me it looks like they have been sprayed with something that provoked a burning to the skin.

        Hiya Jack

They look harmless to me, just a bit of skin discolouration, caused by something un-interesting, I'd say:)

              ?????

I grow more than I can enjoy, so give the rest away to kind neighbours

The Polish family along the road, who do their best to maintain standards
The broke family along the road, who try their best to keep going
The old couple next door who know everthing going on in the street
The new single parent on the other side, who lets her Rotweiler run loose to crap on a morning then shouts "shadow" "shadow" "shadow" but has never seen a plastic bag in her life I use the rotten ones on her
Or on the letting agent, who assures me he is a great landlord, That is why he claimed the money for the damaged wall that I had to replace at MY expence, and the buddleia growing out of his rones (gutters) I could not claim as he had already had the cash

The agent was up purchasing a further Property for her customer, I asked her to guess which propeties in the street were buy to let

Der der, TRY the three with the eight foot un tendered privete, or the three with trees growing in the gutters, or the two with no maintenace. Err Her client

T&M are selling Ferline blight resistant tomato seeds (15/pkt) for only 49p (normally £2.99/pkt).

                http://www.thompson-morgan.com/vege...s/tomato-seeds/tomato-ferline-f1-hybrid/899TM

                Max 3 pkts per order (not household), so 3 x 49p = £1.47 + £1.95 P&P = £3.42 or only £1.17/pkt delivered (less cashback - see below).

And although it states cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, you can include these as part of your order using the £5 voucher that came with the T&M autumn catalogue. Look what I got for my £1.95 P&P!

                ferline.png

And if going via Quidco they are paying 12% cashback on T&M orders at the moment, which probably wont work if using a £5 promotional voucher, but certainly should if ordering a straight 3 pkt order + P&P.

Ordered 3 pkts for 'free' (as post above) + another 9 pkts (3 further orders):

                  ferline 4 orders.png

                  ferline2.png

So that's enough seed for 180 'blight resistant' toms ordered.

P.S. Got 41p cashback per order! So down to £1/pkt delivered from £2.99/pkt excluding P&P.

The Autumn T@M vouchers expire today if anybody wants to use them.I only ordered 1 packet of Ferline but added some other goodies with my Voucher, the wife was distinctly unimpressed with yet another tomato variety. She feels 40 odd is a tad excessive.I might have to share some with her soon.
