Wouldn't kill you Jack. Best thing to do is plunge the toms into boiling water for a minute, then into cold water, the skins will just rub off then.

 

to me it looks like they have been sprayed with something that provoked a burning to the skin.

They look harmless to me, just a bit of skin discolouration, caused by something un-interesting, I'd say

The Autumn T@M vouchers expire today if anybody wants to use them.I only ordered 1 packet of Ferline but added some other goodies with my Voucher,the wife was distinctly unimpressed with yet another tomato variety.She feels 40 odd is a tad excessive.I might have to share some with her soon.

 

Guess Im lucky this year. This little harvest is looking good.
