          One row on my plot look like they have blight - photo attached. Would you agree? They still look ok from above and fruits arent yet affected. Assuming the worst, would you remove every scrap of these plants, or any chance they could right themselves in the hot weather?? They are growing against other plants that dont yet show black spots on the stems.. I just removed as many damaged leaves and shoots as possible..

            Looks possible to me - I hauled a pot out of the greenhouse the other day for the very same reason, one plant looking just like that. All others are (so far) OK

              It does look like blight that is such a shame @Cynthia Chloris. Not much you can do apart from removing them. Remind me again, are yours outside? I have heard there is a lot of blight around on potatoes at the moment.

                  Thanks for your opinions both @Fat Controller & @JWK- absolute shame indeed. Outside yes, where there has been so much rain, and these were not well pruned. Tomorrow's job will be to remove them and see if the next row can be saved.

                          My new 25 x 10 foot polytunnel toms were supported by short canes when planting, then exclusively by that thin flexible cable with soft plastic covering. (plants aren't as tall as they should be at this time of year as weather delayed fixing the cover)

                          I might hitch some rings either side of changes of direction and add short lengths of cable to smoothen the angles.
