Tomato Growing Thread 2022

First flower buds on Haley's Winbox. Tigeretta Cherry Reds not far behind.

 

No, they are dwarf bush varieties, so they can stay on a windowsill without getting out of hand, until they can go outside. Also have Red Robin, bob-bob-bobbin' along...

 

Just sowed Oh Happy Day and Crimson Crush.
Both for outside growing.

 

Crimson Crush germinating almost a week ahead of Ddraig Goch and Roma, so my Tom year going ahead!

 

Early sowings getting a few hours of fresh air. I hope Haley's Winbox doesn't get much taller.

 

Not sure it was a very good early sowing idea. Still a month at least to stay inside...
Wiggling between living room and greenhouse. Moved from 6 into 9 cm pots yesterday:

 

When I first stated growing tomatoes I'd only ever heard of moneymaker, there seems to be a never ending amount of new or very old varieties available these days and getting more each year.
I just wish I was more of a tomato specialist like all you lot seem to be.

 

I just want a Tomato that has more taste.

 

They say as you get older your taste buds change/ get less.
Just saying.
