Absolutely. And to think I'm still chasing seeds from a UK swapper to whom I posted seeds seeds in March!

Now I have to type all my new tomato varieties and their basic attributes into my tomato spreadsheet. First World problems, eh?

Ground ones no, I have some lilac to cut back, ones in pots yes. I think it must be the overnight temps

Me neither! Had some friends over earlier, they're flying out this weekend with easyJet... Or maybe they won't be!

They're cancelling 100s of flights for various reasons depending on who you speak to

Brilliant Pete! No, in terms of being good business folk, Easyjet have demonstrated real arrogance. Instead of furloughing its employees it sacked/made redundant many presuming they'd come back, cap in hand, after the disease went. Unfortunately these stupid folk went and got other work (many earning more!) So easyjet doesn't have enough employees, particularly pilots it seems. Enough of this rubbish .... Amazing Ukrainian seed company! I've dealt with many small companies, including inadvertently a chinese one, through Amazon. They delivered! I bought for some years from Seedaholics, I think, who had great list and were very efficient. Only stopped when I couldn't remember my password! Mind you the sames been true of some of the big ones! My memory and not writing them down! Perhaps they should be contacting me with more than a catalogue but asking me if I want the same seeds/plants again. At least many allow you to look at exactly what you bought in 'orders'.
Tomatoes which are growing really well will put on stem and leaves before flowers by the way, won't they? Compare the same weed growing on a path to the one growing on your plot? Come to think f it though, you lot don't EVER have weeds on your plots!!

It varies a lot between varieties. I've got some two foot tall indeterminate plants which have yet to show flower buds, but on the other hand, this micro IMG_20220529_173043.jpg dwarf Red Robin was flowering at just a few inches tall.

@eatenbyweasels I had the same thing happen a couple of years ago when I grew some really dwarf toms, I can't remember their name now.

I love that you can sow them really early because they'll be fine on a windowsill for months. I'm going to grow more micros next year.

I grew 'Red Robin' in a basket on the balcony a few years ago. The toms tasted very nice if I remember correctly! :)

At long last I've seen some buds on my 'Gardeners' Delight' toms! My toms are well behind this year but when I plant them in the growbags in the coming days of Bank Holidays for the Queen's Jubilee celebrations. I expect they will catch up - if the weather "plays ball"!

I think in my haste to remove sideshoots I inadvertently topped one of my cherokee purples:doh:. Either that or it decided to terminate itself at the top. Hopefully it'll throw out another sideshoot or sucker pronto
