OK you experts! Amazing photos of eatable Tom's, or shots of amazing tomatoes produced by amazing Tom gardeners!!!
My favourites I think we're of some incredibly healthy Beefsteaks, all clean and green and potentially healthy fruit. Well done SHEPS!!

Any idea what is wrong with this cherry rosella? Its the only plant suffering like that. I took the pot out of the greenhouse.

A couple of pictures of some healthier plants too IMG_20220630_175419239.jpg IMG_20220630_175409723_HDR.jpg IMG_20220630_174036552_HDR.jpg

That's what's happened to the plants in my friend's greenhouse. Still not clear what's causing it.

I don't know about dry corners but they haven't given me problems in the 20 years I've been using them to grow toms on the balcony. I very rarely get blossom rot & I don't think they heat up excessively as my plants haven't seemed to suffer & they are in the sun for a few hours during the hottest part of the day.

Do you cut drainage holes in them?

@Balc It's still growing! I'm going to need to pay close attention to feeding this one I think...

If there is anyone out there who has experience of multiflora then please any advice most welcome.

Might be worth making one or two holes in case it is getting waterlogged.

For the first time this year I've watered my toms with some general fertilizer. I wouldn't normally consider giving them any for a few more weeks but, as a sort of last ditch effort, I decided to today. It won't make much difference if they are not going to grow any more but on the other hand it may, hopefully, make them buck their ideas up a bit before I have to get rid of them.

A few sideshoots are growing on a few of the plants & they look OK at present. I'll wait another week before doing anything drastic to see if the fertilizer has any effect on them.

The two plants I gave my son look fine & similar to what I would have expected on the balcony. His plants have set a few fruits & they show no signs of "wilting".

What sort of compost are they in, pots or in the ground?

Edit: re read your post, so they are in pots. I'm wondering if you are using peat free compost?

No problems about that so far as they have only had a couple of soaking since being planted out about 6 weeks ago. As they haven't been growing hardly the last couple of weeks I've held off on watering. Nevertheless, if they do show signs of improvement during the coming week I will definitely make some drainage holes in the bags.
