    Sheps,
To be honest, I don't grow Beef tomatoes so I'm not much use to you in this case. I always grow the smaller cherry tomatoes of which we get big crops of sweet tasting fruit (Maskotka, Tumbling Tom and similar). Maybe next year we can do some Beef types to see how we get on.

Doesn't look like rot, if its still firm around the top I'd guess it was ok.

I have one plant doing this at the allotment. One out of 17 all grown identically in the dirt outdoors with no fertiliser. It is a mystery.

I have one tomato plant that is alive but goes limp every day and perks up at night.
I've watered it many times but it still goes limp.

Tumbling toms seem to be doing well but had a look today and only one tomato on there.

@mazambo they look to be in a nice sheltered spot, is they dont get the breeze there give the basket a few gentle shakes twice a day to help fruit set.

@Sheps I've seen others like yours and it should be okay. You might have a biggish core to cut out but it will still be delicious hopefully.

They have loads of flowers, I'm assuming they just aren't being pollinated

                          Thanks @JWK I'll give it a go.

First bloody butcher starting to ripen, 120 days since sowing and 63 days since transplant.

Also lost an azoychka to BER in the green house, nothing else looks affected though at the moment.

I think it's just a very poor year so far for Tomatoes. Not sure why.

Have to agree with that, so many unusual things happening to some of our plants.
