It's a good spot. I always put a cherry there for one of my neighbours to pick.

The first of my Gardeners Delight'' will need a couple of weeks yet before picking with the very cool summer this year!

The GD at my friend's house is the same, @Balc . It's so frustrating and with this constant rain, feels like a race between ripening and the arrival of blight. :th scifD36:

I was wondering about blight this morning. All the damp weather won't be good

Big Mama and Sweet Olive. Big Mama does exactly what it said on the tin, it's big, early (really- North East and no greenhouse and I'm eating them in July (just)! ) and tasteless

Sweet Olives are my favourite, very tasty and early, heavy croppers and healthy plants. We now get about a handful a day of them.

(Please don't be alarmed by the photo, I don't have early onset of Leprosy, it's just paint. :heehee: )

I've picked an indigo rose tomato. It's not ripe, I just want to see what it looks like when it is! It's sitting next to some bananas...

Still waiting for mine to ripen? There in pots outside on the south facing patio. Big, green and heavy "too heavy for me to move the pots around any more" 2 Super Marmande + 2 cordon Beefsteak plants "completely different from the cherry tomatoes I asked for at the garden centre? Now thinking I may have to nip the tips of them as I don't think there will be enough time left for any more trusses to grow with this awful weather we are having, either that or just keep on with the tomato feed and get my pickering jars ready :spinning:
