    Hi All

Just eaten a tomato from one of the affected plants tasted a bit bitter maybe slightly under ripe, is here any chance it could be the extreme difference in temperature???

    Thanks

    Dave

    Leaves curling

Being pretty inept I dug in a load horse manure in my 8' X 6' greenhouse which I erected last winter. Having read some of the comments I'm now starting to realize why my tomato leaves are curling although there is a substantial amount of green fruit on the plants. Is it wise to water something in to counteract the manure?

justracing; Was the horse manure properly composted, if it was too 'fresh' that would cause the tomatoes to react - it will burn the roots.

I rather suspect that the manure was probably too fresh but having said that , so far my cucumbers, peppers and tomatoes all look pretty healthy.

It could be that your leaf curl is just natural, they do tend to do that when they are growing very fast at this time of year, at the top of the plant. Maybe a photo would help us confirm.
