    I agree with @pete about the companion planting in regards to insects. I only pay attention to what will happily grow side by each as far as soil depletion.

    Spiders in gardens serve a predatory role, munching up insects that may be munching up plants. If you see spiders in the garden and you can identify them as harmless rather than spider garden pests, it is best to leave them alone. As for spider mites they are pests lady bugs eat them but make sure your plants dont dry out they like warm dry places i found this have a look cause spider mites in greenhouse are common

    Hi jane Spiders are a good thing in the greenhouse I have loads every year I see spiders nests with hundreds of baby spiders, I never get problems with aphids.
