First UK stop for a decent range is Premier Seeds Direct. They are very fairly priced, although they are increasingly veering towards hybrids these days. Real Seeds, Vital Seeds, Nicky's Nursery are all worth a look.

If you really like the weird and wonderful, try Tomato Revolution and Ben White's.

Venturing over the water, since Brex**it, many seed sites have ceased shipping to the UK but a few will still dispatch at the buyer's own risk. The sites are still great for info and browsing, though. Have a sit down and a cuppa and lose yourself on Tomatofifou, Vertiloom or Cultive ta Rue!

If you're on Facebook, btw, I can steer you to a very friendly UK tomato seed swap group. Members can post their wants and offers at any time, plus there's an organised yearly seed shuffle event, in which members send their surplus seeds to the organiser, who then posts a list of all the available seeds. Contributing swappers get first dibs on the varieties, then it's opened up to all members, who can request seeds from the remaining selection and send an SAE to receive them.

It's a private group but they don't make you jump through hoops to join.

I'm in one tomato group on facebook too (it's not local, it covers Baltics and people from any other places can join and post too). There are amazing people there from around the world growing hundreds of different tomato varieties, sharing experience and which varieties are tasty or not. Loads of photos. It's completely different to what commercial sellers have on offer. I have now loads of seeds to try during the next few (maybe 10 :) ) years. Locally, I got different varieties from ebay private sellers, and seeds did match variety descriptions.

If anyone wants to try some other species, or in turn if anyone has wild toms like Pimpinellifolium (just not solanum peruviana as good as it sounds, cant hybridise ), hit me up. I only have enough of most of these for 1 other person tho:
              Physalis Peruviana (lots of these)
              Physalis Ixocarpa Pineapple
              Physalis Viscosa
              Solanum Villosum

Again looking for pimps, habrochiates, etc. Also if anyone has the giant green or yellow tomatillos theyd be nice, wonder what that and the pineapple would make.

I have only just discovered this section of GC and then only because NigelJ guided me here. Thanks NigelJ.

Hello tomato seed collectors. Although I have grown tomatoes for many years, I am new to this hobby of collecting rare and cherished varieties. Coming too late for the autumn seed swaps on other sites, I’m trying to get a few varieties together to try to catch up a bit. If anyone has any of these varieties for sale or to swap, I’d be very pleased to hear from you. Thanks, in anticipation. Some of the varieties I'm looking for include these:

                Select

                Abu Rawan

                Bella Rosa

                Big Beef VVF

                White Tomesol

                Chef’s Choice – any colour

                Cherokee Carbon

                Beauty King

                Aunt Rubies German Green

                Black Krim

                Raskoje Naslazchdenie

                Soldacki

                Bears Claw

                Aruija-Zabava

                Awesome Emma

                Chilo Della Garfagnana

                Dester

                Orange Banana

                Stupice

                Believe It Or Not

                Chef’s Choice (any colour)

If anyone has any of these and is interested in barter or trade, please PM me so that we can sort out an amicable arrangent.

                Many thanks,

I am looking for a tomato with a sharp/tart flavour rather than being sweet. If any of the varieties you have grown are tart I have a few Ozark Sunrise seeds, (4 seeds) I could send you in exchange. I bought a packet of 10 seeds. I am not interested in cherry size tomatoes.
Last year I grew Cocktail Crush, Ozark and Big Mama, all very sweet. I have been looking for a replacement for Gardeners Delight.

Hello, Goldenlilly 26. I might just be able to help on both counts.

                    1. Sharp/tart? I haven’t grown and tasted it myself yet, but I could give you a few seeds of 'Burmese Sour'. Check it out and let me know if it suits your requirements.
                    2. Replacement for 'Gardeners Delight’? Courtesy of a tomato guru on GC, I have a few seeds of 'Gardeners Delight 2005 vintage'. Again, I haven’t grown and tasted them yet but you are welcome to a very few of those too.

I have Ozark Sunrise but I'd be interested in anything else 'interesting'. However, my offer is not dependent on a swap. Let me know.

                      Hi,
I am checking that my message to you is not open to public viewing as I had a message returned as an error.
I would love to try growing a few Burmese Sour tomatoes, I have checked the variety out on line and I am hoping it will keep me happy from a flavour aspect.
I will send you my address for posting, let me know how much you need for postage
