    thanks Strongy us Women what are we like!!!
    usually buy my plants quite big,never brought them on from seed,they are looking good,I started Tumbling Toms they are just starting,but Money Maker and Beef Eater are transplanted and doing well

    Nothing like growing your own tomatoes from seed Kathy - very satisfying.

    Dalbuie, I grow both red and green tiger. Love them. Green ones are rather more tart (but are ripe) and are not profuse fruiters but are certainly a talking point when we have people to dinner. I love making a tomato salad with about 5 or 6 different types of tomato. Red, yellow, green, cream, purple and striped. Too decorative to eat. :D

    hehehehehe, kept my toms under glass, got 20 really healthy plants, what's the betting we get a harsh frost to destroy all my efforts? :(

    Shut up Vince. We don't joke about harsh frosts. especially if you live in N. Yorkshire, :D :D

    hi all thought i would post here as we are on the toms subject

    do you think it would be ok to put these into my greenhouse (not heated) they are in the conservatory at the mo and taking over

    and i could do with making some room ?

    oh ! the conservatory is cold at night but warm during the day
