Best to burn or dispose of them Jack, you don't want to risk spreading it to next season's crop.

Give them the heat treatment Jack.
Fry them and then eat them or if you're a bit squeamish skin them and then fry them.
It looks like the virus or possibly fungal infection is at present at an early stage and will have only affected the skin and the rest will be perfectly fine.

Skin's pretty good at keeping the outsides out and the insides in

Chop up and add 4oz of mixed cheese prefrably old (4 chedar and 1 Danish blue)
When all melted pour on a plate

Take two slices of Crusty bread, dip and eat till gone

It looks the same as I had on my toms out the back, they were more shaded and damp, I planted 3 reject plants in the front boarder in full sun(coz I did'nt have the heart to lob them in the compost), they were clear of the motling marks and produced the most fruit.

The ones out the back I lost interest in due to the marking on the fruit and let them go, they went on to produce a gray powdery dust on the leaf not fruit, so maybe a fungi of some sort!?!?!

        Plant Potty.:)
