    I wonder whether the tree was there before the house was built @pete. The house looks fairly modern and may be a rebuild.

    They do tend to be very upright in habit, so it isn't surprising that the one in the pic has such a nice shape. They aren't usually affected by proximity to buildings IME.

    The roofers could just climb it if they needed access @Esoxlucius :heehee:

      It would puzzle a monkey to climb the tree, but not the roofers!
