    Don't forget to do some water changes, at least a fifth of the water needs to be removed and replaced with fresh water, dechlorinated and roughly the same temperature. Glad to hear it's going well.:)

      Forgot to say, also when you do a water change rinse the filter in the water you have taken from the tank and also the gravel will need cleaning, a lot of uneaten food/poo will be collecting in there and it need to be syphoned out.

        Tetras and tigers are from the same family , the love each other , just keep looking at the platy tails , they just love eating tails .....
        please post a picture if you can , lets see if you have any pregnant platy yet ......

        in case you clean the filter be careful if you find any baby fish in there :dbgrtmb:

              Just thought you might like to see my tropical tank! My own personal fish keeping tip would be to keep the substrate shallow, so much easier to keep clean. :cool: Sorry it's a bit blurred, they wouldn't keep still!!! :snork:

                Hi woo,
                Tropical tank is 3' long and holds approx. 30 gallons, goldfish tank is 4' long and holds approx. 40 gallons, I am planning to put another fantail in with my big black moor but at the moment he is in a quarantine tank, I always quarantine any new additions!!!!
