Trouble with Badgers and Foxes

    I think you're right, Shiney! It would certainly bring the neighbourhood closer together!

    One of my many thoughts was to raise the fence to 6ft by using chicken wire, another tthought was to use trellis (and grow roses up it). The length of fence is about 40 metres so trellis becomes expensive. I will try a mixture of all the ideas - including the neighbourhood partry, perhaps!

    The wobbly chicken wire sounds a good idea - I'll bear that in mind.

    Would it not work to spread blackthorn (or similar) spikes over your beds? You just wear gloves when you garden.
