I used the semi auto dial on the top of the camera, sport setting, with the lens set to automatic focusing, the only chance I'd have of getting the shots. It's the first time I've taken pictures at TT and I took sixty shots in all!

My battery certainly dwindled but I've re-charged today. :)

Ok, I would still try a few on AI servo. If you do, review each shot and zoom in to check for sharpness. I don't want to be responsible if it doesn't help and you get duff shots. On the other hand, they may just come out sharper :)

Sadly not Sheal he is over for the Manx and Classic TT in Aug/Sept this year with my youngest grandson... I think they will be taking the BM for comfort rather than the CCM.... :heehee:

I think BMW chose the best person possible to ride for them with Michael Dunlop.. He early had a great race and at one point Guy Martin nearly got by him.! A great race and what TT is about......

You certainly do it is an experience not to miss unmatched by all other races..

B & Bs are not that expensive NG, you just need to book at least a year in advance... ;)

NG.....Word has it here that TT for next year is already fully booked, particularly with the Steampacket although cancellations may come up. The chances of getting a B&B are almost nil but if you are prepared to camp there's plenty of sites for that. The Steampacket doubles it's prices for TT even for residents wanting to leave the island. It would cost me £500 to get me and my car off.

I will be seeing friends of mine, visiting the island on a bike sometime this coming week, so I'll check out the cost for you.
