There is a statue of Joey Dunlop on his bike up on the mountain part of the TT course, I'll have to go and take a photo of it.

 

Totally agree. I get the impression that he will be THE force to beat for years to come.

 

I wouldn't count guy martin out of the picture though as he has been putting in some very quick times and so has bruce anstey beating Michael Dunlops fastest speed.

 

@bexy13 - top bloke that Bruce Anstey is he lacks the out and out hunger of Michael Dunlop.

TT finishes this coming Saturday and it's too dangerous to venture up there at the moment, so as soon as there is a decent weather day and it's quieter on the roads, I'll be off!

Well, I have certainly learnt quite a lot from watching the TT.
1. They drive around it 'REALLY' fast!
So much for 'keep to the left!'
2. It's not a little island...It's about 6 times bigger than I imagined....32 miles long! (I think?)
3. It's not shaped like 3 legs....It's island shaped.
4. It's expensive to get to at a certain time of year.
5. It has a Capital!

It looks like everyone enjoyed it though. I hope those who were injured make speedy recoveries and congratulations to those who won. They certainly deserve to celebrate Thanks for entertaining us with your skills and courage. Awesome!
