    Do you take the gel out? I’m just wondering how a nappy lined basket would fare? :ideaIPB:

    @daisybelle Just open the nappy up and empty water on the inside until the gel swells - just under a jug full. Cut open the nappy and and put the gel into a bowl and add more water to it. You then mix the gel with your compost. :blue thumb: :snorky:

    I dead head my 7 baskets nearly every day at the minute.

      So jealous! So how does watering go on yours? I have gel in mine, perhaps about a tablespoon per basket, is that anywhere near enough?
