Sorry to hear about poor Bobbins Tweaky, it's really sad when we lose one of our pets. :(

Mr Tibbs is so cute, I just adore kittens. Pumpkin your bunny is gorgeous too, love the punk hairstyle:D Great names for guineas, pickle and pie:thumb: 02

Pumpkin is a lion head rabbit as they are called, his mane will get much bigger when he becomes an adult...but he won't grow much more in size as they are smallish rabbits...but they have a great temperament and really respond to vocals and love being stroked and cuddled.

I had never heard of the breed before we got this one, so then looked it up on google..there are quite a few different types of lion head.

 

They're all gorgeous. Mr Tibbs looks like he's applied the camouflage to his face for battle but only one side

 

Awwww Mr Tibs is a real cutie. Your gonna need factor 40 on those lugs. The cats Tweakles, not yours :p

 

Got some new photo's soon of the recently acquired rabbit and update on Mr Tibbs...but first a couple of questions folks.

Vonnie's two of the same sex Guinea pigs have just had two babies...last night.:eek:

1) How do you sex a Guinea Pig
2) How soon can you remove the babies from the parents, as they seem to be tucking into food this afternoon...already?

Regarding my first question, one of them is a little larger than the other (same litter, parents I mean) and has a larger head...is this any indication...or if I get my hands on one of them soon, will the female show signs of giving birth, enlarged vulva or teats etc....thanks in advance.:thumb:

 

Now this may come as a surprise but the male has a teeny willy and the female does not.....if you compare them you shold be able to see the difference. They BOTH have nipples so dont get confused

 

Should I leave them alone a few days before handling them...cause don't want to upset mum and anything wrong...not had Guinea Pigs before.

 

you should separate the male NOW she can breed again as soon as shes given birth so she could already be preggers
