    guinea pigs can breed as early as one or two months of age, although it is advisable to wait until they are three/four months of age, to avoid females being stunted in their growth.
    At the age of five years, the fertility starts to wane, since average life span for guinea pigs is six to eight years.

    Problem here MF, is that when you purchase them from a shop...you don't know their age yea. I suppose we shall just have to wait and see...don't want to separate them if they are both the same sex as they are now used to living with each other and Pumpkin of course....although he's a male rabbit...he is definitely protective of them.:thumb:

    im gonna belt u..ok end up with 6730 piggies within 7 mths ..see if I care Ive done the maths ya know :)

    Ok then you bossy woman. Let me think...erm, well either less than 12 weeks, but I may have posted when we got them...I cant be ****d looking back...but be my jester, heh,heh.

    I just love Bossy Women.............you got any furry handcuffs:rolleyes:

    But I am not guilty in anyway....if anyone is, its the Von. I'm still looking for my Welsh Border Collie.....gotta be out there somewhere.

    Tweaks, it sounds to me like they are not two females-3mths? I don`t they are pregnant for that long are they?
