I know! I just need go and pick up the lawn mower off. That's the only problem with not having a shed. It has to live elsewhere :D

John, still going strong. Lovely. What is that plant that you show the before & after shots, and which changes colours too? My neighbour has a couple, he passed away a couple of weeks ago so I may ask for a cutting as a remimder of him.

    cheers

    Hi John,

Just had a good look through your pics, its amazing what you have done. You have obviously worked hard, and are being justly rewarded. But I have to disagree about the smell of creosote. I love the smell, good luck and good choices.

    regards

along the wooden fences i would suggest investing in some trellis and having some climbers like; passion flower, cup and saucer plants, sweet peas, clematis, roses etc

This one? It's a Peiris (not sure of the correct spelling).

I have two, this one which is now going pale towards lime green and the second one which is now heading towards pink. I'll try and get a photo of that one when it stops drizzling. Give me a shout of you want a cutting or two.

My long term plan is to remove the front wavy fence and put a multi-tiered stone wall in it's place. Once that's in place, I'll look at more plats to climb. Some good ideas for plants though! :)

Really? :D I know what to send you for your birthday then. :D

More photos etc when it's dry (probably 2010...).

It's about a 2 foot gap. Maybe a little larger.

John, it just gets better & better. I know what you mean about the weather. Have you had a chance to sit out and enjoy the back garden with your candles & lights?

    cheers

Is this the Wheelie bin cover Shiney. There's a pic of it fully open in Garden's Monthly. It has a wheelie bin in the right and shelves with boxes on on the left.
