Hi Shiney, Sorry I didn't know that. I thought this was the first time he'd been an MP. Was he ever in a Government post ? Because that would answer the other part of my question ?
Well, if you believe the official stats from the Federation of fish friers (genuine organisation ), there's only about 700 calories in a regular portion of fish and chips. Yorkshires are only about 80 calories each, and there's only 70 calories in a grilled Danish rasher. I love the axe handle line. I'm going to incorporate that into my lingo.
What, just one serving? No copiuos amounts of gravy on the pud?..Well, I guess everyone now knows why I keep very active. Got to burn off the blubber.
Good gods. Does this mean the entire tory party are weasels? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-eu-referendum-36629646 And what's going on with labour pains? Corbyn has sacked Mr Ben, and is himself facing a no confidence vote. And does the lib dem party even still exist? I haven't heard from them in ages.
Yep....here we go. They're going to attempt to stop Brexit at the election which will be called sooner rather than later. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/u...emocrats-live-policy-stay-leave-a7103186.html
He's been an MP longer than that. He's got form for lying and getting caught out and was sacked by Michael Howard in 2004 so losing his job as shadow minister for the arts. Incidentally, he was also sacked from the Times for lying to its readership. You've only got to look at the claim plastered all over his battle bus that we send £350m to the EU weekly to know that he's still at it.
Sorry for the swear word but this is on my FB page, I'm sick of all the bitching & scaremongering! the amount of arguements this vote has caused is beyond belief, everyone was friends on Wednesday now friendships of many years are in tatters!
It was inevitable: the people were being asked to make a big decision with life changing consequences. Big life changing decisions (and the consequences) will always provoke passionate responses.
No problem He served on the Shadow Cabinet as Minister for Culture, Communications and Creative Industries and then for Higher Education. He's been caught out in quite a number of lies during his career. Doesn't that make him an ideal candidate for Prime Minister?
TTIP quote from web site - "We will make the whole text of the agreement public once negotiations have been concluded.." I would have preferred that we were involved before the negotiations were concluded. It's all academic anyway - thank goodness.
Watching the Andrew Marr show, everybody bitching and moaning, the decision has been made, can we just accept and get on with it please. Whether leave or remain won, it`s wasn`t going to please the opposing side, but it was a majority vote, this country is a democracy.
Also watching Andrew Marr Show, feel really sorry that Hilary Benn will not stand as leader candidate. I've never voted Labour in my life but I do feel he would make a good Labour Leader and Prime Minister.
