Indeed. But you can buy bottled sunshine. Bulmers, Magners, Aspel and various other brands of liquid sunshine are all widely available in the UK.

I remember the IMF foretelling of tales of woe following a Brexit vote. And I remember leave campaigners saying the IMF is always wrong. Well, the IMF was wrong again it seems. Analysis of the effects of EU bailouts shows the IMF got it wrong.

A lot of people/companies are being proved wrong clueless, and the sooner Mrs May invokes article 50 the better we all shall be.

A good friend bought me this book years ago while I was still impatient. It took me over a year to read it, because I just couldn't get into it. Then about two thirds of the way through, I just couldn't put it down. On hindsight it's excellent throughout, just too subtle for an impatient youngster.

Subtle is a good word for it although the author, Philip K Dick, had a very twisted (in my opinion) view of the world and it was enhanced by drugs. Some of his books I found very interesting, but disturbing, and other totally impossible to read.

A lot of famous, and not so famous, films have been made from his story lines and even an opera and a lot of songs (including rap!) have been based on his works. All of them after his death 34 years ago although he did work on a couple of the films.

Some of the well known ones, with famous actors, are:-

                        Blade Runner - Harrison Ford
                        Total Recall - Arnold Schwartzenegger
                        Minority Report - Tom Cruise
A Scanner Darkly - Keanu Reeves, Winona Ryder, Robert Downey Jr
                        Paycheck - Ben Affleck
The Adjustment Bureau - Matt Damon
                        Next - Nicholas Cage
The Terminator series were based on his work as well.

Apparently there are more films due to be made, or finished.

A very disturbed and warped genius that found it difficult to live in the 'real' world.

Looks like the hierarchy, ie. those that are much better educated than us plebs that bothered to go out a vote in the referendum are still not going to tow the line.

Its the kind of thinking that just makes me sick.

Lets have a vote on abolishing the titled, privileged, hereditary, rich and mostly drunk House of Lords and get a decent bunch of elected people in there, (that dont just spend their time hunting, shooting, and fishing and disregard democracy because its not come out how they wanted it to),who actually have to work to keep their place.

Go and stamp you feet somewhere else "Baroness" bloody Wheatcroft.
