Well, I snapped this evening. Boris and the President of Ukraine on TV at a press conference, having just spoken to the Ukrainian people about the potential for sending their children to war if the worst were to happen and the first question was to the BBC... "Prime Minister, have you done enough to survive" and then went on to rubbish and belittle Boris in front of the world. Don't get me wrong, I would sack Boris in a heartbeat if I had the power, but that is pure and simple targeting and bias on behalf of the BBC. They are supposed to be our national broadcaster, but instead are behaving like an enemy. Putin must be laughing up his sleeve. I have emailed my MP and Nadine Dorries, something that I never do. Enough.
Cant say that I saw it FC but to be asking questions about domestic problems, in Ukraine , bearing in mind why he his there, is just crazy.
It was appalling @pete - I will try and find a clip later for you, but suffice to say they had literally just been speaking to Ukranian mothers about the prospect of their children going to war to defend their country and some smart-arse from the BBC comes away with that. They are on notice in my house for sure - as soon as we can be licence free, we will be.
This is not just a BBC thing but why do all those idiots shout out stupid questions when ministers leave no 10 and walk to their cars. Never seen any one of them reply yet, and rightly so, its a stupid thing to do and deserves to be treated with contempt.
Bloody journos treating the front of 10 Downing Street as a studio prop. Clear the whole lot out of there. Show some respect to the office if not the clown thats currently in there. Your times almost up Doris
Blair was in George Bushes pocket and to be fair Saddam had practiced genocide on approx 250,000 of his own people plus raids on neighbouring states. Blair is one of the most hated people in Britain but Saddam Hussain certainly wasn't no angel. I'd venture to think that Bashar Assad, Syria is even worse but that's the middle east for you
Not for one second saying that Saddam was a good guy, however that was a war we did not need to be dragged into, let alone one a lie - especially so as over a million people marched in London against it, and were wholly ignored. That was the real start of the rot in our parliament if you ask me - they learned then they could just ignore us and do as they pleased. We reap the benefits of that now.
What a time we live in. I thank the Lord every single day that I live in the UK. Economic sanctions will do the trick. Someone needs to point out to Russia this simple truth - if you can't buy bullets - you can't wage a war. Boris - full sanctions now - block access to our money markets - stop their ability to transact with global banking - stop all exports/imports.
